This on-line collaborative book contains entries added by members of the McLewin family resulting from their geneology research. In 1999-2002 Raymond McLewin joined up with Linda and Malcolm McLewin from the United Kingdom and Cathy McLewin from Toronto to delve into the history of our family name. I (Scott McLewin) have quite a bit of their correspondance and results and am gradually posting them to the mclewin.com site. Perhaps too gradually, but that comes with the territory of having a newborn in the house.

I am Leonard McLewin's granddaughter who was the eldest son of Ernest Walter McLewin and Bridget Anne Holmes of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. My mother's maiden name is Maureen Patricia McLewin, only child of Leonard McLewin and Nellie Murphy. Cathy McLewin from Toronto is my mother's first cousin.
